Metal Arts: Thinking Like a MachinistThursday, September 14
In this beginners class you will learn how to to take your ideas and convert them to drawings that will allow you to plan and document how you will make what you want.You will be introduced to dimensioning, tolerances, the leadscrew, and the basics of the machine tools and their operations that can be performed. You will use some basic measuring tools to measure parts and makes drawings of them. This class will be a great preparation for any of our hands-on classes in the machine, sheet metal, or wood shop.
