Girls' Night Out 2008 was a huge success! We raised over $2,500 for BIDA, and a follow up survey showed that a majority of participating merchants reported sales up by 50% or more during GNO. By a vote of 5-2, the City Council passed the Heery International Phase I $135,377 contract to begin the project redesign. City staff will reconcile the previous design to fit within the new projected project budget, and in July will present a base project design and added-element alternatives to the Public Works committee. The project continues to have a projected start date of spring 2010.
