Gather your Ghouls and Goblins, it’s officially spooky season. All ages are welcome October 31 from 4:00-6:00 along Winslow Way, Downtown Bainbridge Island.

Winslow Way merchants join the festivities to pass out treats. Bainbridge Kids Discovery Museum leads off with a parade of costumed children to join all those that descend on downtown Winslow for Halloween fun. Winslow Way will be open for pedestrian traffic only from 3:00-5:00 pm.

Spooktacular events are set throughout downtown. KiDiMu will be hosting an outdoor party from 12 pm-4 pm. BI Barkery and The Bainbridge Farmers Market sponsored Pet-O-Ween, post a photo of your pet in costume on Instagram. Then using the #BainbridgeDowntown and #BIPetoween enter to win a $50.00 gift certificate from BI Barkery or The Bainbridge Farmers Market. Plus join in the fun with a DJ at the Winslow Mall, BI High School Band, and a Thriller dance performance.

Just up the street trick-or-treaters will find another great Halloween tradition, Cook Family, Funeral Home’s annual, Haunted Cider Booth.

MORA will be serving up its annual Bainbridge Schools Foundation Halloween fundraiser with free ice cream scooped by one of Bainbridge Island’s favorite school teachers.

The City of Bainbridge Island will be passing out candy and Climate Smart Stickers next to one of the Bainbridge Island Police Department squad cars. You may even see a member of the J Pod orcas.

Hometown Halloween Photo booth on Madrone Lane. And trick-or-treaters should be sure not to miss the annual Hot Dog and Chili Feed, at Eagle Harbor Congregational Church “free” with a suggested donation benefitting UNICEF.

We also encourage you to recycle your candy wrappers at the green “Trick or Trash” Box at Ace Hardware.
