How you can help

The Bainbridge Island Downtown Association (BIDA) is a non-profit organization that depends on grants, local funding, partner dues, fundraising events, and our dedicated volunteers. Donating time or funds to BIDA is a powerful way to contribute to the preservation and development of this unique island community.
We welcome any help you can provide, and we have several ways to do so:

Main Street Tax Incentive

The Washington State Main Street B&O Tax Credit Incentive Program allows businesses to make a donation to the Bainbridge Island Downtown Association and in return, earn a 75% state B&O tax credit on that amount.

Donate

Monetary support enables BIDA to continue their efforts in promoting local businesses, organizing engaging events, and enhancing the overall quality of life for residents and visitors alike. We depend on funding to for our initiatives!

Volunteer

We have several opportunities to volunteer for BIDA, including:
  • 3rd of July Street Dance
  • BIDA committees (design, promotion, economic vitality, etc.)
  • and more
