Third of July Street Dance
The 3rd of July Street Dance is one of Bainbridge Island’s largest downtown events, and will take place Wednesday July 3, 2024, on Winslow Way from 6-11pm. The Bainbridge Island Downtown Association (BIDA), with the help of The City of Bainbridge, will close the street to vehicle traffic so that pedestrians have right of way. BIDA encourages residents and visitors to “Celebrate Bainbridge”, with the Street Dance kicking off the week-long celebratory events.

The Street Dance is unique as it is run by a volunteer Board of Directors and supported by the business community, City of Bainbridge, and residents. Activities include:
- Three live bands
- DJ
- Food trucks / food and beverage stations
- Our popular beer and wine garden
- Activities for adults and children alike.
One of our goals is to keep all of our events free to the public. To that end, BIDA seeks financial support from interested individuals, businesses, and foundations. Any money raised covers the event expenses.
