As part of the Bainbridge Book Festival, artist-made books and prints by Bainbridge Artisan Resource Network (BARN) Print & Book Arts Studio artists will be exhibited at BAC in October. Participating artists include Lynn Fry Agnew, Eli Backer, Jessica Dubey, Margot Eddy, Donna Letterese, M. J. Linford, Laura Samant, and Jennifer J. Wilhoit.

Artist books are works of art that use the form of a book and often combine various art techniques and media, such as drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, gluing and binding, sculpture, photography, textiles, creative writing, and storytelling. They can take many different forms, from traditional bound books to sculptural works, and often incorporate a range of materials, including paper, fabric, found objects, and even electronics. Artist books are often produced in small editions or as unique, one-of-a-kind objects, and are collected by museums, libraries, and individual art collectors. The artist books in BAC’s show include accordion, sculptural, and fabric books. BARN offers both artist book classes and an open studio for work on individual projects. BARN also has a wide range of printmaking classes as well as presses and other printmaking tools for use in the studio. Exhibition runs October 3–26, 2025
