Concerts to held at Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church at 11042 Sunrise Dr. NE. Bainbridge Island on Friday April 24th and Saturday 25th at 7pm, with special guests Kids in Concert (KIC) directed by Laura Milleson. There will also be a 3pm matinee on Saturday April 25th with special guests Sakai Choir directed by Katie Gibbs. Tickets are $24.00 general admission, $10 for kids 13-18 years old, and kids 12 years and under are free. Amabile is a multigenerational mixed-voiced ensemble of singers from Bainbridge Island and the Kitsap peninsula in Washington state. Our name is taken from Italian for "sweet" or "lovely". In music, "amabile" instructs the performer to play or sing the music in a "gracious or amicable manner" or "lovingly". The choir brings a loving and joyful approach to its music, to each other and to the audience. Our director Sylvia selects beautiful music that delights and inspires your soul. Our group is growing due to our loving and joyful intention and sense of community. We are committed to enhancing the musical experience for our audiences. We are dedicated to learning and fostering the talents of our choir members, and by supporting collaborations with youths for their talent development.
